Lanie Byk is a leadership coach and facilitator with a passion for assisting leaders to reach their potential by supporting their reflection and providing practical tools to make their true potential an achievable outcome.

Providing an opportunity for leaders to effectively take stock of their current capabilities, strengths and preferences and construct a pathway to achieving their personal goals is the centre to Lanie’s coaching success.

Lanie has a strong interest in cultural change, values-based leadership and team engagement, believing that true long-term business success can only be achieved through the efforts of a valuable and valued team.

Lanie has extensive experience in the fields of coaching and facilitation at the executive management level. Her approach draws on a broad perspective gained across 20 years in senior management positions, in the areas of commercial banking and finance, private banking, human resource strategy, executive development, cultural change and large project implementations. Current clients come from a diverse range of industries including mining, resources, environment and the not-for-profit sector.

Lanie has worked substantially as a facilitator and is known for her ability to combine the rigor of experiential learning theory with creative energy to support strong cultural change programs. Recent programs include the development and facilitation of a women’s Aboriginal leadership program in conjunction with a local not-for-profit and senior members of the Aboriginal community.

International studies at Wharton School of Business in Organisation Change Management have enhanced Lanie’s insight into the need for great leadership to deliver on organisational strategies.
